LADYBUG TUTORIAL


Ladybug is a Grasshopper plug-in that allows you to use a weather data file and a site model in Rhino to obtain accurate site analysis information. Ladybug can provide sun path analysis, wind charts, psychrometric charts, radiation analysis, and shadow studies. Please follow the tutorial below to get started.

  1. Open Grasshopper by typing “Grasshopper” in the Rhino command line

  2. Find these components: LB_EPW Map (connected to a boolean toggle)

  3. Toggle. This will send you to a website to download an EPW file for your site location

  4. Find these components: File_Path, LB Import EPW.

  5. Double Click on File Path to link in the downloaded EPW File
